Pay Water Bill

Update regarding August 15, 2020 Utility Statement: 

As mentioned in the previous communication there was an error in the read date for the bills received August 15, 2020. The billing period indicated on the August 15th bill is June 30, 2020 through July 30, 2020. The ending read file that uploaded was from August 10, 2020, resulting in a bill that spanned 40 days vs the normal 30 day cycle.

You will receive your next bill on September 15, 2020 for a billing period of 20 days (August 11, 2020 through August 31, 2020). All due dates and draft dates will be processed as normal. If this mistake causes a hardship, extensions or payment arrangements will be made available by contacting the Utility Billing department at ub@cityofpilotpoint.org or call 940-686-2165.

Due to the pandemic we have not been accessing penalties for late payments, we will continue this practice through this time.

UPDATE:  City Hall is currently open to the public.  The main entrance on the south side of the building is the only entrance accessible.  Face masks are required.

The City of Pilot Point offers a Citizen Self Service Portal in addition to payment by mail, drop box, and in person at our billing office.

Online Payment Portal 

Our Citizen Self Service Portal website allows you to make one-time payments with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). Go to our Citizen Self Service Portal to view and pay your bill  by clicking on the word "Online" above .  To pay online you will need the following information:

  • Your pin number located on the top portion of your bill
  • Your Utility Account Number and amount due (Contact 940-686-2165 if you do not have this information).
  • There will be a 3% convenience fee added to your total.

If you choose the credit card recurring method; once your card date expires, you will have to manually re-enter. The system will not automatically update this information for you and late fees will not be waived for expired credit cards 

Automatic Account Debit

Sign up for automated Bill Payment by completing a Bank Draft Form (PDF) or stop by City Hall.

Dropbox / In Person

A payment drop box is located, for your convenience, on the West side of City Hall.

We accept cash, personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders and most major debit and credit cards.
